Now that it is summer here in Australia I am loving smoothies even more! Yes it’s true I indulge in them all year round however there is nothing better on a hot summers day than an ice filled smoothie to cool you down while loading you up with nutrition.
This Banana Chocolate Thick Shake is the perfect addition to your summer breakfasts, or as an afternoon snack to curb those sweet sugar cravings. It provides a lovely source of protein, potassium, omega 3, magnesium, probiotics and fibre.
There are no fancy powders, just real food and just as good for you! Ps. The frozen banana and ice blocks are key to making this sooo delicious 🙂
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Frozen Banana
- ½ cup Natural Yoghurt Splash of Milk (of your choice)
- 1 Tbs Chia Seeds
- 2 Tsp Raw Cacao
- ½ -1 cup of Ice Cubes Water (to desired consistency)
HOW TO MAKE IT
Simply put all the ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
